Service/MOT Swindon

Hi, I’m a new member, although I’ve been following for quite a while. My Adria Twin
is due service and MOT. I normally use Johnson’s of Swindon, a Fiat Professional, multi brand dealer. However, currently, they are unable to carry out an MOT because they have no MOT technician and can’t say when this might change. Does anyone in the Swindon area have knowledge of a reliable alternative? Many thanks.

Ask at your town hall if they do MOTs at their own yard.
If so they are obliged to serve the public as well.
Usually full price but don't do repairs so no incentive to fail for the sake of extra work.

I use Cridge Motors of Royal Wootton Bassett for my MH and cars always been happy with the service they provide.

You could talk to Redvers in Swindon, who service and MOT vehicles up to 5 tonnes, including emergency services stuff.

For my motorhome MOT I use Manor garage in Kiln Lane off of Cheney Manor Road.

Probably, over the last year I’ve noticed a change of reception staff. The company is advertising locally for both technicians as well as an MOT technician, so you may well be correct.

Johnsons are absolutely garbage. Try MOTEST in Hawksworth.
