Series 8 Ducato engine undertray .

I recently looked underneath our van and was surprised to find that there is no centre section of the 3 piece plastic engine undertray fitted. There are no fixings and the fixing holes in the outside sections do not look as if they have been used.
On checking the trays on two friends series 8 vans, these also have no centre section. Have we got three "Friday afternoon shift" vans, or is the lack of the centre sections normal?

It's normal. Most vans have a tray on the timing belt side only. Nothing on the centre or left side. I fitted a complete tray kit. It came with the rivnuts to attach it. It's possible (but faffy) to fit the rivnuts without a tool.
