Hi Funsters,
A question that some of you may have experienced.
My 2022 series 8 Ducato shows a light bulb icon on the dashboard. When I go to the "Alerts" menu is says check nearside fog light bulb.
I've done this and it's fine. I have my rear scooter rack on the Camper and it's connected via the modern twist socket.
The fog light is working on the rack but not on the camper van!
I have unplugged the rack but still makes no difference.
I'm about to head over to the EU in the morning. I'm not too worried about it as it's still under the 3 year warranty and as said I've got a fog light on the rack. My Vespa obscures the rear lights on the van anyway.
If anyone can help it will be great.
Regards Mark

I would expect that whoever fitted the rack and 13 pin socket by your explanation of twist socket the fog light should be switched off when the rack is in but should switch back on when the fitting is removed.

I've used the rack many times and never had this issue. I actually thought that it could be the bulb but no.. Thanks for the help though.

It could be the bulb, I’ve had that myself.
The bulb might luck ok but still throw a warning notice, try swapping it out with a decent quality replacement
