Campsites with a bus stop close by, “not within a mile”, is a must for us.
Therefore can anyone recommend a site within a reasonable bus ride of Coventry?

Somers Wood is a great site on a bus route to Coventry

Look at Warwick racecourse - buses every 10 mins to Cov

A search of google and searchforsites comes up with 5 Ways Lakes near Wolvey, and there looks to be a bus to Coventry from right outside the campsite. Theres also Wolvey Caravan and Camping park 100 years off that same bus route.

Perhaps confirm with the campsites that the busses still operate on the Wolvey to coventry route. It's about a 35 minute ride.
If you google "Wolvey to Coventry bus service" or timetable it should confirm the route for you.
There seems to be little else any closer excet a CCC club site with a few hundred years walk to a main road.
I've not been to either of those sites
