Perhaps I shouldn't have used the term 'we' as I don't speak for anyone else, although I was referring to some who may dare to disagree with you. There are some you know.

We live next to a bridle path that cuts across our ground, and I'm always having to pick up dog mess just left there for others (including us) to step in, or for postie to run over in his van and deposit by our gate when he stops. Some people just don't seem to care. Thankfully they are in the minority, as a lot of other responsible dog walkers pass by!
 
This dog is welcome on my pitch anytime,

La Biennale park in Venice, a very stylish Venetian was walking his French bulldog on a lead. On his phone of course, animatedly gesticulating, dark sunglasses sparkling, his dog started to crouch.

We were sat on a bench people watching. Still engrossed in conversation, he pulled out a pad of pre-prepared cut magazine pages, pulled one off, slid it under the pooches bottom and stood up.

Said dog had a dump and stepped to one side, the man folded up the offending item into a parcel, walked to a nearby waste bin and dropped it it. All whilst still engrossed in conversation on his mobile. Both walked off, no one batted an eyelid, I wanted to applause!

it was all very stylishly done, quick and well practised. No plastic bag to hang around forever and a suitable reuse for a glossy magazine.

I stayed on one outside brecon earlier in the year. Booked for location lovely site didn't miss other people's dogs the lack of other people's kids was noticed designed for grumpy old gits. There were none there the weekend I booked 🐶 🐶 grumpy gits kids or dogs;)
 
I don't believe it (Honestly I'm not Victor Meldrew) different site same event.
Owner using Retractable Dog Leash almost to its limit, allowed his dog to wonder on our pitch and crap, it was so obvious what the dog was going to do. He did collect it whilst giving us a smile and a "sorry", whilst his partner laughed whilst holding their second dog who looked eager to join its sibling.
I must have a sign on the back of our Motorhome Inviting irresponsible dog owners to let their little babies crap on my pitch, its either that or he's read this article on this forum and got his revenge
Its bloody simple whilst walking around site feeder routes, keep you dog on a tight lead until you reach the dog walking area.
I now withdraw my apology I gave in a past posting on this matter

Get a high power water squirter and squirt the dog, when the owners kick off, just say that your watering the grass on your pitch and didn't really "notice" the dog!

Go on to say "Easily done, let's face it, you didn't notice your dog on my pitch either did you, as I assume you wouldn't be pig ignorant enough to let the dog try to use my pitch as a toilet, would you?"

Or you could just squirt it at yourself for being such pig ignorant people…..by all means have a go at the owners….the poor dog is just doing what comes naturally…..they don’t know it’s someone’s patch….for goodness sake, stop being so petulant towards dogs, and lay the blame and your anger towards the owners. I thought I was joining up to a Motorhome Forum to share interests and ideas, not a forum for persecuting dogs.😜

This is a forum where we discuss anything and everything. Thankfully we are all individuals with different interests and opinions but with one thing at least in common, our motorhomes.
This is your first post and a bit aggressive as a newbie.

Thank you for your kind response….If anyone is aggressive it sounds to me like a few of the members towards dogs….they are not in a position to speak up for themselves, so a need for common sense to support them…obviously this isn’t a forum for me then if that is your attitude towards “new” members.

I'll ignore you being rude, you obviously have issues following rules.

I'm not angry, nor am I petulant, slightly amused at peoples shock horror that not everyone likes their little shit machine, but there again I always chuckle at preposterous people and situations

I was offering advice to the OP who seems targeted.
 
The world, as I know it, stays the same...

Hanging out with motorhomers in the real world over the years, I have noticed that most "inter vanner" disputes don't involve generators or solar panel outputs or the best route to somewhere or BBQ smoke or EHU cables or sat dishes or errant girlfriends/boyfriends.

The most common disputes seem to be over dogs.

Just an observation.

Ok as a “new” member, could you please explain what RULES I’ve broken with my comment….I’m not a WUM or TROLL, but would be pleased to know where I have overstepped the mark in my protection towards dogs being physically abused…..as I said in my first message, blame the owners and “squirt” them, they are the ones to blame for any flouting of politeness.

Squirting water is hardly physical abuse, nor was my post an instruction

Rule one is "be nice" calling some petulant and pig ignorant isn't in the spirit of rule one, but as I said, I'll ignore it as it doesn't bother me as I can see your overwrought with the thought of some one squirting a dog with a water pistol

The full sentence which overstepped the mark was
“Or you could just squirt it at yourself for being such pig ignorant people”
Without being specific you included all who posted as “pig ignorant “
Just saying it as I read it
