Good morning we are new to this having just purchased a 2019 Swift Bessacarr 574 L after being caravanners for 14 plus years and are seeking constructive advice on self levelling systems, lightest, cost installed etc we look forward to some helpful input please, best wishes, Charlie & Chris.

Hello and welcome to the FUN.
We have HP self levelling system on our Adria coach built MH.
Can’t really help with the technical side of things, other than to say, now we’ve got a MH with self levelling we wouldn’t be without.
It was fitted by the previous owners, we did get the receipt amongst all the docs when we brought it. The cost along with rear air assist suspension, if I remember, was £6.5k. It was fitted by a company in Doncaster.

We have the same Moho and we’ve been quoted 5.5K for ma-ve hydraulic system weight 60Kg.
And 3.5K for Tesa electric system 52Kg.
Was advised that hydraulic system is better for off road parking as it has a better lifting reach.
Both systems give the Moho solid stability when in wind and moving about inside.
Loads on Google about them. Good luck and welcome 😄

SAP near Doncaster fitted ours along with semi-air suspension (on the back) and upgraded springs on the front. I can't remember how much but about £7,000 maybe? Worth every penny and wouldn't be without now.

The E&P system can be taken off and fitted to a new vehicle by SAP.

It's also great as you can tilt the van to drain the grey water tank or to raise the van to have a tyre changed, no jack / stand needed.

On your other levelling thread you asked for lightest so I suggested HPC as I believe it is lighter than E&P, we currently have E&P on this van as that was what the factory fitted when we ordered, I we hadn't had factory fit we would have had E&P but fitted but Mick at SAP Doncaster as we did on our last van, yes we could have had it moved over but it was a nice feature on the van we sold and it would have been a pity to spoil it ;)

Hi there, we had our HPC self levelling system installed by LNB Bristol, this is the second van that we have had the system on and definitely wouldn’t be without it. Van is level within a couple of minutes and solid to walk about because it’s off the suspension. Our van is 8 MTRS and they also fitted air suspension at the same time. Would highly recommend LNB for anything MOH related. Five start from me. Good luck with your research.

Yes we have VB full air so the E&P talks to the air system and drops air out first and then deploys the jacks to get a better and lower level than not dropping the air, HPC do the same now with VB air.

I am in contact with an LNB customer who had an HPC system fitted to their 8.7m MoHo.
They’re not at all happy! Some workmanship is amateurish to say the least and, having paid £5.5k, it only stabilises, it won’t level! 😡

Well it should work and "auto level" so needs to go back to be set up properly I would say.

We have the E&P system, fitted by Mick at SAP on our 4tonne Mercedes sprinter conversion. As others have said a first class job, ours has all the workings in a waterproof box under the van to save boot space and the handheld control is fitted into a recess on the back of the drivers seat, really neat. Cost was just short of £6k. It’s not only the levelling, it’s the stability that’s great.
