Some....good & bad!
Hi,
Apologies if digging up an old topic but I did a quick search to no avail.
I have realised that the solar capacity of my van and it's associated controller is not adequate for my needs.
I have one 100w panel feeding a Sargent EC700 controller which I am told is the work of the devil, and a matched pair of 100ah AGM batteries.
I want to add another 100w panel and bypass the existing solar controller and fit a suitable MPPT unit.
Could the 'experts' among you please recommend the best components to use, whether a dual output controller feeding both the leisure batteries and the vehicle battery or a single channel one with something like a battery master arrangement.
Anything else I should be aware of or need, can I still monitor voltages from the EC700 display?

Also....I'm assuming the existing mains charger and engine charger will remain unaffected? Please advise if I should change these too.
Thanks.
