Frankia isri drivers seat is jammed in the reclined position . Recliner lever does nothing
Does anyone know how to get to the mechanism to try to fix?

Not sure what your seats are like but mine are like this and to remove cover, remove oblong cap and lever off handle and then remove circlip. The spring in mine had broken.

Can't help with the problem I regret but it reminds me of an event many years ago. I was asked to pick up a company Ford Granada from a garage where it had been repaired after a crash as the normal driver was still unable to drive. Accelerated from the forecourt onto the road and the seat reclined all the way! Frightening as I could no longer reach the pedals or see ahead. Stopped in the middle of the carriageway, walked back the few steps to the garage and told them to sort it. Unfortunately, the guy who had dropped me off was already on the way back to the office.

Lesson, be very careful with seats that recline!

Even with grips on the cables we cannot unjam it. I phoned s.m.c. And they hadn’t got a clue as to what to-do or care.
Called into a truck seat company in Leicester and have ordered two new seats with lumber support and more cushioning in the base, also with suspension
Being fitted this week, won’t worry for now that the upholstery won’t match
