I've had the same issue all day - had to change it from Dark to Light in the Forum settings.. I prefer the dark screen, but, as you say, you cant read the titles

Look like dark mode..
Click you avatar pic (top right) by you name. Then down to preferences.
Change "style" (on right) to FUN LIGHT and save..
