Im sure there will be varying opinions on this.
We are heading off to Spain for a month shortly, do I pack my internal or external screen covers.
Planning a few sites, but mainly stopping in Aires.
Thanks
Howard

I would take the internal one. Not so much for thermal retention at night, but keeping the heat of the sun out during the day.

Wow, that was a quick set of responses.
We will be on one site for max 3 days, rest of trip will be 1 or 2 nights. So will probably take the internal ones then.
Thanks

I'd take both. Externals for thermal qualities (in terms of keeping the van cooler in the day as well as warmer at night) and their vastly better ability to reduce condensation. Internals because they're more flexible and I can put up just whichever section I need to to keep out the sun if I'm somewhere that I want to be able to look at the scenery/surroundings. :)

Thanks, though looking at the forecasts I wont need to worry about keeping the van warm at night.
