Hi, I have a Scorpion S37 alarm and last night it went off around 1am. Before I could get to it, it switched itself off. When I unlocked the van it beeped 3 times rather than the usual 2. I have spoken to the dealer and am waiting a call back from the manufacturer. The dealer said that the 3 beeps indicated a zone was triggered such as someone trying the door. This would not have been the case or a windy night etc. The dealer has called it a 'one off' and if it happens again then to book it in.

I am unsure why it switched itself off and wondered if anyone has experience of this?

Thank you

<Edit> Spoken to the manufacturer who said that if it happens again then to count the number of flashes on the LED. This is the LED that has the alarm key recepticle on the dash. This gives the alarm code. He said that 6 flashes = over sensitive settings.

If you have wireless sensors on the doors the batteries will probably require replacing. We've had a similar issue last year. Hope this helps

Thanks. No wireless sensors. I am happy to go with a one-off. The dealer and manufacturer were great which takes the concern away.
