SCHENGEN CALCULATOR

Just had a quick play with it, very clear and seems to be more visually obvious than many as to what you've used and have left, or not.

This does not work correctly! It does not roll the 90/180 days.

Works for me.

We have a single ferry booked August 2023. I put that into the calculator with a proposal
to stay for 44 days (as an example.)
I then went forward to a date in February 2024 with a stay of around 21 days.

It confused me at first because, part way through the Feb. trip the days used, 'froze'
until I realized that the days from August this year were falling off on the page from the end of my
previous time in Europe.

It then made sense (Well, to me anyway!)

Thought you had a french dog.

Doesn't that allow you to swerve Schengen. (y)
French one and now a Spanish one. We wish we could find someone from "over there" to adopt us all.

Well it does for me. I put in 2 trips which showed 12 overstay days at the end of the second trip. I then altered the dates of the first trip by 5 days and it reduced the overstay days to 7 days, so it did roll the 90 days.

I found someone in Poland to 'adopt' me, but even with residence I am still restricted to 90/180(except in Poland) unless I get Citizenship.

Thanks - very clear format and to predict how long we can stay in the future
I can only take credit for finding it and posting on MHF..... not my creation

That would present problems for her on Inheritance Tax as she would automatically recive all my Estate. The assets are all in UK where they will be taxed at 40% and then when she received the assets they would be taxed at another 20% as the law is different here. The Double-Taxation agreement with UK does not cover Inheritance Tax and a Trust does not help because there is no concept of a trust in Polish Law.

Even without marriage it is difficult to avoid the double tax but I have a cunning plan, but have to have it checked by a lawyer and a tax accountant.

As for the Schengen 90/180 rule, if we stay in EU countries I think we can wing an extra few days, especially in two trips, because we shall know at the start of the second one that nobody has noticed us on the first one, 'so it never happened'.

Morning all, came across this version of a Schengen stay Calculator. IMO the easiest one yet to help plan trips across the channel...see what you think....

Thanks for posting that. Although I was a fan of the simple manual calculation using a calendar printed out on A4, I found the "app" to be intuitive and accurate. It even counts down for you when you have used your 90 days and tells you when you can venture abroad again. Very useful. I might even buy the developer a coffee . . . . .

Right. I have the Ninety180 app. When I select Custom and put in my dates for 31 days in France, I still have 89 days left according to the app. I the add 12 days in November and I still have 89 days left.
I have a degree in astrophysics but can’t get my head around this app.
Any help please with this particular app?

Bob

When are the 31 days allocated and which Nov; 22 or 23?
