Hi

My new Bürstner Eliseo was supplied with a Schaudt EBL 119 mains charger, Schaudt WA 121545 45A booster (all mounted under the front passenger seat), and two 95 Ah leisure batteries (mounted under the driver's seat). I have the manuals for these units, and I been looking at the fuses and the jumble of wiring looms in order to work out what circuit serves what equipment ...

I can't identify one component, which is attached to the cab floor under the passenger sea with a strip of double-sided tape. It has four cables attached, but I haven't as yet traced to what they are connected. I attach a photo below.

Is this a temperature/voltage sensor or another fuse? Can anyone advise, please?

Many Thanks

Les

Step alarm!

That is a buzzer probably for the electric step, will buzz if you start the engine with the step out.

Looks like a small 12v buzzer to me. Without knowing where the yellow and grey wires go it’s hard to say what the intended warning is for. Sorry I can’t be any more help

oops beaten to it. Leave your step out and see if it sounds

Guys - Thanks for your prompt replies - much appreciated.

I put the step out, and asked SWMBO to look closely at the buzzer - on second thoughts, would she put her ear close to it? >:) . I started the engine, and after a few seconds she said, "Errr ... yes, I think I can hear it buzzing now."

BTW - She's becoming a little hard of hearing!

So - it's the step alarm!
