Found this earlier hidden behind a panel, is this a battery to battery charger?. Also more importantly I assume it should have an Led and Ebl is wired reversed polarity !!.
Have 12v on SB but nothing on Ebl side and this was manufacturer fitted new.

EU built vans usually use blue as +
Thanks but should there be a voltage across Ebl terminals and blue indicator be lit but photo was in park so no vehicle of ehu?

Different wiring diagrams match your van set up. The handbook points out the differences. On mine the two on the left (eingang) are from the van and the 3 ausgang plug into the rear of the EBL.
This is from a website IVT

The Schaudt Booster WA121525 is designed to charge 12 V lead-acid, lead-gel, AGM and lithium batteries optimally during the journey (regardless of the generator voltage). The use of a booster is absolutely necessary for light engines with energy-saving charging characteristics (Euro 6), since the charging voltage fluctuates very strongly (12.6 - 15 V). In the case of conventional alternators, the second battery charging is also improved by using the battery booster WA 121525.

For AGM batteries, which require a charging voltage of 14.7 V, the use of a booster is indispensable. The Booster WA 121525 is a switch mode up / down converter that compensates for the fluctuating alternator voltage and provides a high charging current.”
