We've got a Snipe 2 that still works well.
As said, what problems are you having with your 3?

Increasing numbers of those of us who do more out of UK than in have ditched the satelite and are using firesticks etc as if you have some UK data or vpn you can watch stuff in other countries.

Really depends what your use is likely to be.

Thanks for the tag MisterB but unfortunately I can't really help with this one. I do know that Avtex were originally the UK agent for Snipe years ago so they might be able to point you in the right direction.

Would be interesting to know why it needs repairing.
My snipe 2 is over 8 years old and still works fine. It's been hit by trees and battered by high winds and hail. At one stage it refused to move fully out of the lock position and lift up, while making nasty noises from the motor. Eventually, as a last resort I reflashed it with the latest update and it started working again normally.
I have found this issue with other computer based eproms. Occasionally they need reflashing to correct the bit rot.
