Hi got a Maxview seeker system which has come up with the error code of AZ.
We are in the algarve at the moment and was wondering if anyone knows of somewhere herethat could have a look at it
Many thanks in anticipation

does this help?

it suggests that you check the cables and connections and then try to reset it?

do you have a way to check if you have power at the motor?

Hi Mister B,
Thanks for your reply.
The dish goes up & does a full rotation then stops, so presume that means that power is at the motor.
I will try a reset.

Haven’t used our Mecatronic satellite dish since Autumn, just getting ready for a few days away, checking everything tried the satellite, and it won’t work, dish won’t go up,6 error code says “Signal Error check RF cable”
can’t find any reference to this in manual , don’t know where to start, it was working when put away in November, since then only been used for days out so nonTV required.
Any help appreciated

You could try checking the tightness of the cable where it goes into the satellite itself and the controller box. Some systems use 2 cables, one for operating the dish and one for the actual TV signal. Best to check all attached cables. Remove and retighten if necessary.

Thanks for your suggestions, it’s now working, went on the roof, and gave it a good wriggle about, and its working.
Guess it got stuck overwinter, maybe.

Have you used this system before in the Algarve?

It’s most probs a signal issue.

What size dish are you useIng?
Does your LNB automatically skew?
Is it a HD system or Q?

Also look here: https://maxview.co.uk/satellite-selector/
Thanks
its working now, seems like it was just stuck closed, got on roof and wriggled it about and released it.
