l have had to return the MCC sat nav garmin would not update .Can anyone recoment a good one thank you .

Don't write off Garmin because you had a bad one.

We use the cheapo xgody , ebay .with up to date maps and they are updated every quarter year. Good graphics and you can add mhome dimensions etc. Plus at around £60 they are brilliant value.

You haven’t given any details of the problem updating. Have you got the latest version of Garmin Express? Is it a problem connecting that prevents you updating? If so, and you’re using the latest version of Garmin Express, then try deleting all user data on the Garmin and then try to connect again. We had problems updating our Garmin as if failed to connect to Garmin Epxress. Deleting all user data sorted that. Bit of a pain because you lose all retained destinations, waymarks etc. But easier to put in again once updated.
