sat nav

Bought my auto trail from a person that spent a lot of time in FRANCE so the sat nav is in french
Had 2 people try and change to English but no look keeps going back to French can any one help please

To be fair, more info will be needed. Make and model of the sat nav for a start will help our experts. Otherwise, maybe Google the sat nav instructions?

I only know about TomToms but you can change the language in the settings, what puzzles me is why they had it in French, unless they were French or learning the language.

Mine defaults to German if I do a reset, but it is a German make so that seems ok. If you reset an Autotrail maybe it goes back to English?

If you listen to instructions in English when in France they mangle the language so badly you can't hear anything over your so-called navigator giggling. It is easier to listen in French and translate.

This reminds me of, many years ago, being provided with a new Citroen as a company car.
