Using an iPhone, or iPad, Apple maps ..Is there any sat nav with male voice speech. ?
I to struggle with the very low volume on our Aguri. Then a bit of a brainwave hit me when I remembered I'd had a gift of an Ankor speaker earlier in the year. The speaker can through the "Blue tooth" function issue the commentary. It does mean another bit of kit located somewhere at the front of the van,but at least I can now hear the damn thing.I find it hard to hear a female voice on my sat nav which is aguri 720 can this be reset to a male voice? That new! I've got an old TomTom in our runabout that I bought s/h on EBay. I think the maps date from around 2004-5. Driving back from Spain in my old Ford Focus in 2010 we came up the A75 in France, ostensibly driving for miles through fields. Still use it for finding specific streets in some of our nearby towns. The regional English female accent on the built in sat nav on our new van almost had me throwing the unit out of the window. We won't be using that device anyway as the maps are 12 years out of date and are difficult to update.
I've just sold my Jag X-Type and the most recent sat nav disc in that was from 2012. As with you, most of our drive around Madrid in 2019 was on roads that didn't exist so far as the guidance was concerned. That new! I've got an old TomTom in our runabout that I bought s/h on EBay.
