Have a look at an app solution, like magic earth (where you can enter MH dims, weights), then a device to run it.

You may already have one, or use your smartphone.

The Chinese truck navs work OK most of the time but not all of the time. Even Google maps can give you the run around sometimes.

I like a 'proper' GPS rather than a phone based one because they don't rely on phone data.

That said, it's sometimes useful to have a second system with different maps if one goes squirrelly...

I had the Garmin Camper in my old van which was excellent. It lets you put in vehicle details to give you better routing and is a reliable unit.

I've used Garmin for years but am trying to get used to the TomTom that came with my Relay. It's been pretty good but doesn't have all the features that the Garmin does so I'll probably keep that as my second unit for this van.

Copilot on a tablet. I've used it for years and bought it while I could still get a lifetime license. Map data is downloaded and updated regularly. Internet only used for delays and weather warnings, which are optional.
Cheap Chinese also good but updates a bit complicated.

If that's an Xgody sat nav then yes they are ok. Updated maps can be downloaded off a Facebook site. You can input your van dimensions and preferences.ie tolls .no tolls motorways etc .

Ones that take dimensions may avoid the official mapped width, weight and height limits but make no difference on narrow lanes and difficult main roads. I find the Google and Waze phone apps best. The important bit for me is bang up to date traffic info and maps and my phone with Apple CarPlay provides that. I haven’t even bothered to work out how to update or use the camper system built into the head unit.
