Bailey autograph 79.
On our trip satnav took us down a lane and unfortunately got a wood scrap the length of it now , has anyone got a clue how remove , cheers

If it's creased the panel it needs a paint/body shop.
If it's only wood marks then a gentle rubbing compound should remove it.
Even undiluted washing up liquid is mildly abrasive

Will up date with a photo , when running finger across mark don't feel any indentation

Then as pappajohn says, remove the mark with a gentle rubbing compound and then stand at the back of the MH close to the sidewall, sight along it and see if you can spot any slight indentation.

If not the problem is over,

We use small melamine sponges for removing scuffs etc. along with panel wipe or other solvents for the stubborn marks. Buy them from the usual online outlets in 100x for about £7 and they’re also good on paintwork around the house and non-stick pans etc.

Have just used Farecla from Halfords for something similar. It seems to have worked.
