Great stop but avoid on public holidays we caught one vans were still coming in at 2 am.Cabarceno - about 1/2 hour away. It's free and was nice and quiet when we stayed but can get busy.

Yes I definitely agree with this.
One August we could not get down the lane into it. It was absolutely packed by 4.00pm.

We always stay on the Aire at Somo it’s only 15 mins to the ferry . it’s next to the campsite and you can have EHU also a toilet and there are manned barriers ,

Think you may have those coordinates wrong as they are in the sea. Is it N43° 28' 20“?
