Santander area

We are off to Spain in April and would like to spend 3/4 days in the Santander area or not too far away so would like to ask has anyone any recommendations for campsites ,before we journey onto the sunnier south Thanks Mike.

A very handy free aire with water and waste in Santander on the road up from the football stadium. Around 15 bays. On the roadside and looking over the park but quiet at night. 2 night stay restriction with suggested campsites also listed on the notice board.

The road is now a one way system from the stadium end.

Arriving in Santander on Saturday, weather permitting, we were looking for a local Aire and will try this one, thanks for info.
