its saltfleet gala weekend again on the 11th and 12th of august and we have been invited again ,
it was an absolute fantastic weekend last year with plenty to do ,
more details to follow

Absolutely terrible time, bad weather, far too much free flowing ale, far too much to see and do, but hey we'll give it another bash.

but please keep those drunken bums away from us...... ta muchly xxx

the committee are having a meeting later on this month ,so will be able to tell you all more whats happening and charges , all i do know is that they have booked better groups for the evening entertainment and are hoping on more entrants in the gala threw the village and more on the field sunday .

for those that did not come last year the village has 2 pubs that serve meals ,a small chip shop and thai food take away,garage that sells all the daily papers and food items,beach near by .

i am hoping that people will be able to turn up thursday and leave monday , field is flat and well drained

just to bring this back up ,

i have been informed that it will cost £6 a night this time,

still waiting for a list of groups and whats happening and will post as soon as i know

Would it be possible to arrive late-ish about 7.30-8.00 pm on the Friday? and leave on Sunday? As we will both be working that Friday till about 4.00.

that would be fine , i am hoping that we will be able to camp from the Thursday till the Monday, but still waiting for confirmation from the committee

yes we are getting a few vans now, still waiting for a bit more info but my contact on the committee is on holiday at the moment ,but he assured me
it should be a better gala than last year
