I am installing a signal wire from the AES output of the Votronic MPP 250 to the Dometic RML9335 fridge in my Pilote G600. I have routed the cable as far as the bottom of the fridge but am now trying to find where the fridge electrical connections are. I have identified the S+ connection on the diagram in the manual for the RML.
Can anyone tell me where the connections are located on the fridge and are they easily accessible?
Thanks

Usually just a connector block on the back side of the fridge, accessible by removing one of the external vents hopefully ?

That’s what I had assumed. I’ve removed the bottom vent grill but nothing there. I will need to take a ladder to the storage site to check behind the top grill. I was hoping someone who had done this can confirm where the terminals are.

Page 32 here shows the connection which I believe is inside the plastic connection box on the back of the fridge, same place as the mains 240v goes in.

I will add that solar will be the No1 priority when AES is selected.

funflair was quicker than me (I got sidetracked).

If you use EHU you need to fit a switch or relay in line with the S+ or the stupid fridge will select 12v when on EHU. I fitted a mains powered relay.

Thanks Lenny HB for clarifying that point.
Adding a control relay into the circuit makes it a bit more complicated.
I will have a rethink as to where I would fit a 230v relay for ease of wiring. Somewhere near the EBL 271 and MPP probably.
Any suggestions as to where (circuit wise) to pick up a 230v supply ‘on’ from the EBL?

Far simpler just to fit a switch, I fitted a relay wish I hadn't bothered as it's now started buzzing.

I had a spare connection block under the fridge where I had rewired the mains when I fitted a changeover for the inverter.

Oh no, buzzing would drive me nuts.
A switch would be simpler but I would probably keep forgetting to operate it.
I’ll give the idea of utilising the S+ more consideration.
Thanks all for your comments, they have been helpful.

Not yet.
But since the job is more involved than I initially thought it is on hold while I decide whether to go for a switch, relay, or not bother at all.
I will find the terminations though for future reference whatever I do and put something on here.
