Thinking about VB semi air - have replaced 15" wheels with 16" wheels and 'big' winter tyres, which are 3" greater diameter.

Slightly concerned about rear wheel arch clearance with the bigger wheels/tyres - should I be? Not sure.

Has anyone used S&G near Luton and have an opinion on them as an installer?

Many thanks.

Not near Luton, but if you don't get any positive responses I can recommend Rosmia in Sussex. I had my rear semi air installed in November '22 (I went for the onboard compressor with the dual controls fitted by the lower dash). Total cost was £1500. I found them to be efficient, professional and friendly. As an aside I also uprated the front springs for an extra £1000 which has made a significant difference to the front stance and handling.

I agree that replacing the standard shocks with 'VB' Comfort units on the front has made a massive difference to the handling - Night and Day. We have a Burstner Nexxo t665, maybe it's a 'Burstner' thing!

Thanks - hadn’t thought about front springs, will keep it in mind.

They installed M-Level hydraulic levelling system on our van in early March.
Very happy with the service.
Ran us into Woburn for the day and also sorted some TV issues we had while we were there (FOC)
Can stay overnight (water & power available)

I believe they are very competent. I have been to them for issues with my Teleco system an they were extremely polite and efficient. They do not just "wring"money out of you. I have no problem recommending them and hasten to add I have no connection with them.
