RWG stopped working in RUT955

Hi.
Looking for advice.
Ordered my rwg SIM and used it for a couple of calls in UK before departure ferry for 90 days round EU

Installed SIM in rut955 router in Netherlands and it worked fine for a couple of days.

Since then, shows full signal strength but "unable to connect to internet"

I tried the rwg SIM in an old phone (now in France) and get over 100mbps so the SIM data is working, it's just stopped in the rut955

Any suggestions very welcome.

I would check the internet settings on the RUT to see if they have been removed somehow as not connecting to the internet means either they know its in a router and are restricting it (possible but unlikely) or the internet settings have been removed somehow. I am assuming the RUT is still working and has not broken somehow, only way to know this is to put another sim in it to test it (again unlikely but worth checking)

Check the APN on the router it might need changing.

Haven't got access to my 955 at the moment but there's the obvious Allow Roaming and I think there's another to allow it to auto select the provider.

I find if I leave the router on when on the ferry it can't connect when it emerges from the car deck in France or Spain. It connects quite happily after a reboot.

Assuming you have APN or maybe Network settings settings on your router this user manual may help you,, good luck.

There are 2 APN’s I have found that work.

ion.otm

And

Everwhere

No password for either, you will need to turn off auto apn selection as well.

When I was last in France it did this weird thing where it wouldn’t work for ages on startup then just connected and worked.

On my RUTX50, I've had to manually set the APN for Smarty. I had to use authentication, but leave the username and password blank. The no authentication option didn't work.

For EE, auto works fine.
