When draining the freshwater tank down for the winter can somebody advise that if the water pump is running but very little water is passing through the pipes can this lead to damage of the pump?
The boiler's frost protection activated before I had a chance this year to drain everything down. On opening the taps to clear all remaining water(almost none) the pump was noticeably churning away but no residual water was exiting from the tap heads and I was just curious if this could lead to damage of the water pump?
