Just a chance posting.
Have any Cartgago owners either replaced the bulbs or unit of there running lights. They are Hella and in a five cluster. I need two but they are at robbery prices.
If anyone has a couple I will gladly buy them.
Many thanks
Wilf

It's a Carthago so 'robbery prices' are part of the standard spec. :xsad:

Despite that, we still love our C-Line. :xThumb:

Richard.

More like these I think:-

I'm surprised you speak of your Carthago as a "pile of c" - we've had no real issues with ours even after a year of "ahem - extended touring"

These are some 3w blue ones I bought and made a police light circuit, just for fun
. The camera doesn't do them justice really they are blinding... I know.. I've got too much time on my hands

Be patient you probably will.
I've had 4 door stays, 2 waste tank handles, warped cupboard doors, multiple hinges, fridge incorrectly installed, internal water pipe joints coming apart, furniture trims falling off, dealer fitted wrong towbar, severe water ingress, bathroom mirrors discolouring etc. I could go on but life's to short. Good luck with your van.

Jesus - what year is it? I'm typing a 'For Sale' sign as we speak!

:DIs it for sale

Mine will be if I get all the above issues!

Don't panic Simon!
Our Celine (C-Line) is coming up to four years old and, touch wood, is fine.
Yes, we had a number of returns to the dealer for faults to be sorted under warranty but most were minor and were easily fixed.
Since the last warranty fault was fixed she has been great with the only problem being chipped and cracked windscreens. Number three is to be replaced when the new one arrives from Germany.
Never known a screen attract so many big stones. :xangry:

Richard.

Lol - not panicking Richard, we love ours too.

Agree about the Screen though - only had 1 chip so far, and managed to get it repaired whilst up in the lakes earlier in the year.

Phew, just ordered a C Compactline i143 for delivery next year. After 3 years of Hymer was hoping I would not regret trying to get below 3500KG.

Not yet. One thing for certain it will BE in better condition than new after all the repairs and replacements it has had. We are now hopefully going to enjoy it a for a while without breakages.
