Run to the sun….

Out of all the places we have been, that come to mind the most, tafraoute, oualidia and Larache were our favourite places, trafraoute because of all the reasons outlined above and it’s just so relaxed, and oualidia due to the buzz around the park up and the fresh fish every day and larache because it was so calm and natural and the park up ideal in front of the harbour entrance. Doesn’t mean we didn’t like anywhere else, just these three stick in our minds the most, but overall I think Tafraoute tops them all

It’s on its way…

Quite sure you got in there in time! 🤣
According to some sources I've spoken to recently most restaurants and some shops will be open from 12.00 noon until midnight but that's in the big cities & also the King has decreed no sacrifices this year (Eid al-Adha) so no glutton of goat tagine this year! Lol

I like Tafroute too but I miss the sea and the nice humidity it brings, Tafroute can be tough going when it gets really hot,
I love Larache too, if I ever bought a property out here it would be in Larache ♥️

I didn’t expect this much preparation…🤔 if as much effort goes into the painting then it bodes well…☀️
Maybe they know your upholstery boy from Atlantica parc & know they could end up owing you money if they f'eck it up!

I told them if it’s not good then I’m not paying so sharpen your knives..😆🤣
Really is marvellous how they can spray paint in all that sand.
We do it a closed shed with a concrete floor but still have to put plastic sheets down to stop the dust.

We’ve just landed in Fez too but, we’re out of gas so on the campsite. Rain forecast tomorrow so it might have to be movie night all day long 🤣
Thank goodness we stocked up on the important stuff before Ramadan kicks off 🤣🤣🤣

It is what it is chaser, I know exactly what I’m paying for, I’m not under any delusions… but they way they are going I think it will be an acceptable job, even for my high standards…😆😉

I bet they could do a really good Rapptor finish 😆

As it happens they have done a rapptor on an old Moho.. it looks horrendous but I didn’t see it before and apparently it’s much better now..😆🤣

I’ll get a picture later 👍🏼

5 days here.

An excellent camping in Ounagha. A friendly town

IMG_20250226_120145128.webp

A trip to the absolutely enormous Sunday souk at Had Draa.
It's not for the feint hearted. So no offensive pictures.

Then a wonderful meal with unlimited wine with the Barchettas at the vineyard 5 minutes walk away.

And now patiently waiting for our goat tagine in what seems like the middle of nowhere.

We left the Oliviers campsite last week after a few days but we missed the market unfortunately. Next time though and we did like the look of that vineyard too 😍
Another reason to come back to Morocco 👍

I wasn't knocking it in any way I really am amazed that they can do it, practice I suppose.

Well…. It wasn’t done..🤷🏼‍♂️

And I’m not sure why, they have the paint because I’ve seen it and they don’t like a van holding up in the garage so they’re doing it tomorrow.. hopefully again 😆

So we are sleeping in the van in the garage tonight..😎
