Just want to pick your brains on how we can get connection . My wife has to dial into team meetings while we are away in the MH. Tried hotspot on our phones but that doesn’t always work . Tried paying today on site to keep connection £20 for a 3 hr meeting. That method did work with no loss of signal.Is there a better guaranteed way to get our own signal so that we are not relying on others ? How would that work for Europe too ? TIA 👍

I'm not sure of costs or details, however;

I wandered into 3 phone store and took up a deal for a 3, 4G router. It came with a SIM card, 3 naturally and a monthly contract.

I think I paid about £70 with three months free before the monthly contract activated. I think that made the router free! I don't know the data deal but I've never run out.

I've had it about a year with only one small issue when overnight they rescinded my Adult rating, which I only discovered when I went to buy a lottery ticket.

Reception has always been good for what I want, web surfing, email and YouTube.

Motorhome WiFi style device with roof mounted aerial maximising your chance if getting a signal and keeping it.

A 4G mobile router with an external antenna on the roof will cover you for most situations. Far stronger signal than hotspotting a phone.

This video is useful:

If it’s for work purposes and you need a good chance of a solid connection then a commercial grade router such as the upper end of the Teltonika range (RUT955 or X11 and higher) could fit the bill. Couple it with a Poynting MIMO Antenna with matching connections for best compatibility.

Thanks will look into this 👍
