roof vent screws

i bought a mpk roof vent, it comes without screws to fix it to the roof, I can't find anywhere that sell 3.5mm pan headscrews, spent 3 days going round all the main diy stores an searching on line, help plase as I cant fit it

none of these links are any good, I want screw bolt type, ie not a point, as it needs to screw into recess space of air, it does not screw into any material, flat end screw. I have been into a RS store, me of their screws work, I even took my vent in with me. I now which I never bought it, looks like ill sell on ebay.

machine screw. why don't they supply screws ?

The fitting instructions say>>
Secure only with pan, or round headed screws (not supplied), 3,5 mm/ head according to DIN ISO 7049 (DIN7981).

These are machine screws, and readily available on-line or diy store

You don't say what model roof vent you have but I did a search on fitting mpk vents and found this

It says for screws

... maybe its me not understanding but it does give the alternative option of using round headed screws ... the fact that it doesn't go into anything 'at the end' doesn't make much difference does it?

thanks for reply scotjimland I used the link and bought 3 different sizes as the instructions don't give a size so ive got a good chance of getting it right ?

yeah.. if not sure about length , you could bought long ones and cut down to size..
