Hello. My dethleffs/ducato Mho is 5 years old. The roof over the cab which is a different material to sides and flat roof is losing its shine. Is this normal? Does anyone know how to restore it? Many thanks

G3 Advanced Liquid Compound from Amazon approx £15 for 500ml. A little goes a long way. Used to be available in Halfords but they have stopped selling it now. Easily applied with a buffing machine. Finish with a wax polish.

Yes it's normal you need to use a GRP restorer on it to cut back the Gel coat then polish, followed by a good wax.
Be careful with the restorer as Gel coat on Motorhomes is a lot thinner than on boats.

Biggest problem with that is not buying the right stuff but being able to reach the middle front of the roof to apply the blooming stuff :)

I've done mine a couple of times and always keep it waxed but it soon goes dull again. I think if I stay out of the Spanish sun it would help. But I think I can live with it 😁

Thanks everyone with their responses. Certainly agree with trying to do the middle the roof. There is only so far you can get through the roof light.

I am trying to find it on Amazon France. Is it in a yellow bottle please 🙏
