Roof mounted aircon unit for Ixeo 586 or 590

Hi,

Has anyone got a roof mounted aircon unit on either of the above models, I have been told by a dealer that its not possible to have roof mounted units on these models due to lack of space?. I currently have a 585t with a roof mounted aircon unit and am looking to move to one of the above but I won't do it until I can be sure that i can have roof mounted aircon.

Surely if it has a roof light then it’s possible just to take it out and out the air con in?

You are right they are designed to fit in the skylight aperture, that is not so much the problem, the issue is, I have been told there is not enough space for the unit to fit on the roof because of the rear habitation roof vent which is also in the same area. since posting I have written to Burstner to see if and how they have solved the problem in Germany for their German customers.

Looking at the video....the kitchen vent should allow a fit of a compact unit i would have thought?
Our neighbours have a Truma Compact on their motorhome and that was a bit of a tight fit I know. Im sure its the IX 586?
