Roof light won’t close.

Just back from a trip away, cleaning up & opened roof light, now it won’t close.
I have power to it & makes the normal clicking noises, any ideas please?

Tried assistance including expletives but just clicking, it’s quite hot here so opened it right up whilst cleaning, feel a tad foolish now
