Roller Team 590
Hi folks ! So, I just purchased a 2018 Roller Team 590 with 10k miles, literally yesterday and just noticed the shower is leaking under the tray and onto the floor.

The sellers said everything was all working so I had no reason to doubt them, now they are saying well it’s sold as seen and might be refusing to pay to fix it, and that they have never used the shower!

Fingers crossed, It might just be a loose drainpipe but I’m not gonna try and fix it. I’m not sure what the 10 year damp warranty covers?

Hopefully I can get this sorted amicably and not have to return it.

😭

Yes, it was advertised at a reputable garage where I first viewed it, but the owner also had it up on Facebook so not through the garage.

Hi kayd, I’m sorry to hear you are having issues with your new Rollerteam.

Usually the 10 year ingress warranty only covers water ingress through a permanently sealed body seam/join, window & heki frames or a body integrity issue.
The 10 year warranty will only be valid providing the previous owner kept all the habitation services up to date.
If you have the records for all the habitation services, I would advise speaking to a local Rollerteam dealer or service centre and get their opinion on whether it is something they could claim through the warranty.

I hope you manage to get this sorted, so you can get out and enjoy your new motorhome!

Thank for the responses, the sellers have agreed to sort it out. They are sending local habitation guy to take a look at it Monday, but I might call Roller Team to see what they say.

They have done all the hab certs and they were sent off to RT, though it’s due one for 2023.

Hi KayD, not sure if same issue but I found a build defect, where the door trim, did not meet the tray and allowed water out when showering, used silicone been perfect ever since

Hi kayd I too did the same as MalcMc and mine has also been fine since. I hope you get it sorted without too much hassle.
On a broader note, that has been the only issue we have had, we are at similar mileage and neither hab or cab side has missed a beat.

Hi, yes i saw some people had that issue, however this seems to be once water is in the drain, then it seeps from bottom left corner of the wood plinth under the shower tray. There's a bit of silicon securing the plinth, otherwise i would have unscrewed it to investigate... but i will leave it to the expert to sort out on Monday.

Just been insuring it and cleaning all the algae off the roof in the meantime :)
