I have a Thule Omnistor wind out awning which has a rip in the canvas due to wind. Is it possible to replace just the canvas? If so is a DIY job? Does anyone know any companies that can replace the canvas. Thanks.

Have you tried to tape over the tear with a sail cloth repair tape? Around £10 a roll. Waterproof and may well do the job.

I have done that and I'll probably hang on till the last minute to replace it but I'll have to replace it at some point. Earlier if not too expensive.

Rose Awnings replaced ours when that happened. It wasn’t cheap but to me it was worth it.

I have just taken a Thule Omnistor awning off our Autosleeper Nuevo as we never use it and want a bit more payload. It would be free to a good home but I haven't worked out how to put it on the classifieds yet. If it fits and you are prepared to pick it up from Dundee you would be very welcome to it.

This is the absolute dog’s dangly bits when it comes to fixing rips in tents, awnings, vinyl rear windows in soft tops etc. But be careful, you only get one go at it, it’s VERY VERY sticky!!
