Hello
I have not posted for a while but thought sharing this may be useful to some.
I recently stayed in the 'park and walk' car/coach park just outside Winchester - excellent and 10 mins stroll into the lovely town.
As some people commented on Searchforsites, you can't pay for overnight using Ringo so you have to use old school coins, no cards accepted. It was (from memory) 7.50 so you need a few which of course I didn't!
The car park has x2 location codes - one for cars and one for coaches/motorhomes. Guess what - no matter how much you try, the Ringo app will not let you register your MH as a motorhome - it defaults back to car.
Anyhow the point of post is after this experience I fed back to Ringo asking their developers to fix this. It turns out that they cannot do this - but - can manually add your registration as a motorhome. So, hopefully, next time we'll be ok.
The moral of this tale is to contact Ringo and ask them to add your vehicle (or convert it if already stored in your account) as a MH. Then you're covered, since I guess Winchester isn't the only place with different codes for different vehicle types. I emailed them (support@ringgo.co.uk) and they took days to respond so do ahead of time.
Hope this helps.
