We have hab door on the right we never have mentioned it in over 12 years of motorhoming and never had a problem. No problem
Just mention it on organised sites and park the other way round
Why? Nearly all continental vans have the hab door on the RHS regardless of which side the steering wheel is.Sounds like it's been a private rhd import from Europe.
In Europe the hab door would be on the verge side.
Really???Sounds like it's been a private rhd import from Europe.

Whilst that may be true in terms of the written club rules, I can only repeat what i've been told by CAMC wardens, you'll note that awning pitches are larger and have the two markers more or less in the centre whereas non awning pitches are narrower and have the two markers to one side, they don't want the habitation door opening onto the fire break, so vans with the door on the right may be asked to drive in forwards so the door opens onto the pitch, I dare say that the wardens at different sites interpret the rules differently though but i'm sure they'll tell you what they want when you check in.There are no rules about which side your door should be and no mention of different rules for awning pitches and non awning pitches
Nearly all european motorhomes sold by dealers in the UK are rhd.Exactly Lenny.
Hab on right hand side but maybe someone wanted a rhd version instead of lhd
why do you say that lots of german vans , my burstner included have that layoutSounds like it's been a private rhd import from Europe.

Love the van BTW. Never had an issue either. Just drive in forwards or backwards as required. Our Carado has never caused us a problem
