New to Revolut and spotted some discussions on other forums stating that Revolut doesnt work at Toll booths. These were old discussions and things might be different. Also are there any additional banking charges when paying at the Tolls?

Never had a problem with tolls France or Spain using my Revolut card. Cannot see how machine knows what card is being used.

Mine worked a week ago on tolls in France contactless Revolut but - class 3 !!

Did any of you get additional charges at the tolls?

My pre paid card wouldn’t work at toll booths a few years back. Haven’t tried recently.

This year no petrol station would have it either.

It works fine in toll booths, but I have now changed to Starling for the simple reason that it is a proper debit card that can have a euro account and is protected by the FSCS. So, load Sterling onto Revolut and transfer into Euros to get the best rate, then immediately send over to Starling Euro account. Once set up it takes seconds, and you can use the Starling in auto pay fuel pumps and withdraw money at ATM’s at leisure, with no extra charges.

But then I’ve said that all before. :gum:

So thought the best thing to do is try it. Tolls (none near me) petrol station this morning no problem.

I think the best thing for those having problems is to contact Revolut direct and report it.
