I need a new reversing camera. Can anyone recommend one? Is wired in best? Thoughts please. Thanks in advance

We used a Garmin BC40 - wireless and battery-operated, so no wiring required. It does, however, require a compatible Garmin Sat Nav…….

Thanks Andy. Is it also usable like a rear view mirror while driving?

Not really, as it uses the sat nav as a screen……

I assume that you already have wiring for a camera - or are you not just fitting a replacement…..?

I've recently bought a MH with wiring and a housing for a vanessa. The screen was broken and the seller left it with a repair shop who disparate of the screen
I don't know the brand! I don't know which screen I need a a replacement so. Im looking at starting again with a new one

In that case, I’d be looking for a ‘twin’ camera - one for rear-view, and one for reversing (usually wide-angle looking down) in the same housing. You should be able to get a new screen included with the camera, but it may cost a little more….. ;)

Have a look on eBay and Amazon to see what’s available…….

The Camos Jewel is a small discrete single lens camera but can operate as reversing camera or rear view camera (some clever software in the camera me thinks). Expensive though. Wired and has a separate monitor.
