I have a reversing camera on my motorhome which works well in normal conditions but when the sun is directed into the rear of my motorhome the image is almost burnt out. Any suggestions would be welcome please?

Sun shining directly into any lens will cause flare (it's why camera lenses have lens hoods) and over exposure. You won't cure it, but you can alleviate it somewhat by glueing a piece of black plastic to the top or surround it with a hacked, opaque plastic bottle to shade the lens. But you probably cant do this if you have a dual lens camera with a motorised cover .....

Use your wing mirrors, and someone to flap their hands at you 3 inches from that bollard!

Thank you Nigel. It as, I suspected, a difficult problem to solve. I will do, as you suggest, and then test it to see it has improved the situation. I did wonder if there was some sort of polarising filter I could apply but to date I have not found anything suitable.
