Resealing question

Some of the seal joints (along the roof and side panel ) have lifted a little from the side panel - but still firm . Would you recommend in removing all the old seal before sealing (afraid that will expose more than fix ) or just run a decent bead of sealant over the top ?

Sikaflex 522 being used btw

If you mean removing the sealant under the join then no. Simply cut off excess ( bulging out ) with a sharp scraper,( carefully ) then mask up a couple of mm either side, smooth with a wet finger, pull off both sides of masking tape then let dry. I always use Puraflex 40 from Toolstation, never had a problem, about half price of Sikaflex who also make Puraflex
