I have an Elddis 255 2021yr and I am replacing the charger in the fuse box to a Victron Blue 30amp 3 output one. There is two outputs on the original, one for the charger and the other is a 12v output. There is also a small white wire that I don’t know what it’s for. It connects to the panel with a spade connector. Any idea what this could be for? TIA.

According to the information regarding the BCA built PS306-6A-BC model charger/transformer you have , the white wire was only used on 2015 Motorhomes for some reason. If you google that BCA model number this information is given in the wiring details for the unit.

Thanks for the information. I saw somewhere that you can just leave it disconnected however it was connected to the circuit board in the distribution panel. I wondered if it was some sort of signal wire.

As said in the other thread you posted in, with the ps306, leave the existing psu/charger in place and all 12v connections connected, disconnect from mains. New charger should be connected into circuit via 2 bus bars and cables to hab battery. The thin white wire is a 230v connection signal wire - used to indicate 230v connected and also an alarm when 230v disconnected.
If you need more info, post on this thread and I wiil try and help you, busy over the weekend and even worse am having to use the wife's smart phone as no computer here.
