Does anybody know an approximate cost for the supply and fit of a replacement windscreen for an Hymer Mlt motorhome ?

In the region of £3 - 4k.

Usually the excess on your insurance of about £100. If not insured then about £1000 from Mercedes or £500 from OEM

About £3k had our DL done about 18 months ago Autoglass guy had the TW invoice in the van for just the screen £2044 +vat then there was their profit/labour/travelling etc.
