Replacement Windows

I’ve had to my motorhome in for repairs due to an altercation with a van resulting in two wrecked windows and some slight body damage. The vehicle is an Auto Trail Imala. It was assessed early August and here we are in early December and still no sign of the replacements! I make regular phone calls to the repairers and always get the same response, ’We’re still waiting for them to come in’. Does anyone know why there is such a delay from the suppliers? Has anyone been through anything similar?

Cant help with the windows is the van at the repairers and are they charging per day for storage to the insurers

The window OEM? or Autotrail? or a leisure spares distributor? or an independent firm that makes bespoke windows (e.g. EECO)? or a caravan/motorhome breakers yard?

No. it’s at home. Their storage compound is quite cramped and in a let’s say undesirable area.l expected to have to wait a while, but not this long.

Not sure about that as the girl receptionist just ‘our suppliers’. I’ll keep pestering them until I get some answers. I think the manufacturers are in Holland so possibly they’re trying there.

Most likely it's Polyplastic and they only produce the size you need infrequently and in batches.........(but I'd have expected there to be stock in the various distribution pipelines).
