So I think my present thetford fridge type N112-N43F04R6A has given up working. Would any “funsters” know where I can get a replacement fitted, and basically how much. when this fridge is removed is it normal practice to unload it through the habitation door? I am in Surrey / West Sussex. Your help will be appreciated (there’s nothing on ebay)

Thank you Geoff, we are shortly moving house to Rustington so those 2 addresses will be close bye. Thetford have also suggested Jackson’s leisure.

My old (2002) RM6401 stopped working following a habitation service. I considered replacing it: £1300 plus labour. Turned out it was a bad contact.
Check the simple solution first!

With the fridge left on, after driving home 3 hour drive, the freezer showed signs of getting cold, left the EHU on all night and this morning it’s nice and cold. So now I just don’t know, I was parked camping on level ground but a bit nose down so I don’t think uneven parking was my problem. Tonight I will leave it on gas to see what happens.

Did you not have the gas on last night ?

Chris, can you give me good advice as to my fridge not working?
Not Chris on this site. He would be worst than useless. Chris at Reliance in Chichester

I have had 3 vans all over 20yrs old and all with 3 way fridges. Yes they can have glitches but normally a cheap fix. Whilst the newer ones full of electronics are on a different price band to repair.
I’d go for repair over replacement but that’s only my view
