Replacement engine. Peugeot Symphony Autosleeper. 1.9 td

The engine in our 1999. Van recently blew up resulting in terminal damage. We are struggling to find a replacement engine. Can anyone help? From Chris & Ian in Cornwall.

When I had a 1.9td, I was thinking of fitting a 2.8idTD engine (not a Jtd).

Hi there’s a prefix to your engine number three or four letters then the number. The engine will have been used in other vans in the Peugeot or sevel range. So search using that info. If used in a taxi vehicle there should be plenty exchange engines about on the net.
