Hate throwing stuff away just because the battery’s flat! Have an old Cambridge Audio Minx Go wireless speaker. Love using it in the van. But the old battery will no longer hold a charge. It is a Li-polymer 11.1v 1500mAh battery.
I can find a lot of batteries that seem to fit into radio control cars, planes, boats etc and they have a different connector. I can however find what looks to be the right connector and even appears to be the same physical size as the old one but its rating is 11.1v 2200mAh.
Does the larger capacity (2200mAh rather than 1500mAh) rule out my using this battery if it physically fits?
