Had a variety of tents, tipis, motorhomes, caravans and now back to a coach built motorhome!
On testing my Renogy inverter with a test plug in either of the sockets it flags that the live and neutral are reversed.
I can’t find anything to suggest that it’s controllable via any buttons.
Is this a manufacturing defect?

No, they usually have floating earth's so there is no live and neutral. Just 2 lives. There won't be anything wrong with it... Probably 😏

Ahh right ok, thank you for the speedy response.

Lots of inverters would show a false fault with one of those testers. You have a continental motorhome which should have been built to cope with variable polarity. Just assume both wires are live and unplug items before you stick your fingers inside them.
